Prof. Siddhartha Das delivered an invited talk titled “Water and Ions at Nanoscopic Interfaces: From 2-D materials to plasma membranes” at the Waterloo Institute of Nanotechnology (WIN) of the University of Waterloo.

In this paper, we propose how surface charges on plasma membranes can favor non-specific adhesion of Nanoparticles to stiffer plasma membranes….This is Shayandev’s 19th paper, Haoyuan’s 7th paper, and Harnoor’s 2nd paper from the group. Congrats to all three of them !!!!

In this paper, we develop a new theory to probe the overspray effect in Aerosol Jet 3D Printing. This is Guang’s 18th paper and Yuan’s 3rd paper form the group. Congratulations to both !!!!!!

This paper corrects the existing model of the Ionic Diffusioosmosis in Charged Nanochannels. This is Haoyuan’s 6th paper…congrats!!!  

This paper probes the behavior of the interpenetarted polyelectrolyte brushes in the weakly interpenetrating regime. This is Prof. Siddhartha Das’ 100th journal publication. This is also Shayandev’s 18th paper and Parth’s 2nd paper from the group. Congrats to both of them !!!!

The paper is a collaborative work with Prof. Hu’s group. The paper is on Scalable and Highly Efficient Wood-Based Solar Steam Generation Device. This is Guang’s 17th paper from SMIEL.
