In this paper, the role of surface charge on soft wetting has been discussed for the first time. The work is based on a new theoretical model that allows to probe the asymmetric case when the solid-liquid surface energy is different from the solid-vapor surface energy. This is 1st paper of Jing from the group and also Shayandev’s 10th paper. Congrats to both.
