In this paper, we describe our fabrication of printable carbon-nanotube-based highly robust humidity sensors that can deployed on surfaces of widely varying curvatures. This is Beihan’s 6th paper, Vishal’s 19th paper, and Swarup’s 3rd paper from the group. Congrats All !!!!

In this paper, we demonstrate the effect of screening counterion valence in the overall ion distribution and electroosmotic transport in nanochannels grafted with charged polyelectrolyte brushes. This is Turash’s 12th paper from the group. Congratulations !!!!

In this paper, we employ machine learning to study the effect of polyelectrolyte brush induced confinement in affecting the water-water hydrogen bonding. This is group’d first paper on machine learning. This is also Turash’s 11th paper from the group.

Beihan is the 8th Ph.D. graduating from my group. His thesis focused on developing a novel Carbon-Nanotube-Graphene-Oxide based printable ink, which could be used for sensor and antenna fabrication. He also investigated fundamental deposition patterns associated with unique structural facets of Carbon-Nanotube-Graphene-Oxide particles.

SMIEL Ph.D. student Sai Ankit Etha has been selected as a finalist for the Padden award symposium of the Division of Polymer Physics of the American Physical Society. This selection in this global competition demonstrates the Excellence in Polymer Physics Research by a graduate student. Typically, only 5 students are selected as finalists. More details

Prof. Das has been recognized October 2022: Prof. Das recognized to be among world’s top 2% researchers in the list published by the Stanford researchers.
